Under it's former ownership, this was our go-to for a family night out and we were saddened to hear they were closing their doors. With a background in restaurants and a collective desire to optimise that neighbourhood feel, we embarked on a new phase for our family.

With everyone involved front of house and, most importantly, with Chefs Tony and Sami on board, we looked to excite, engage and welcome pizza-lovers from all over South West London but especially from Balham.

Our DEFRA-approved, wood-fired oven was installed by a team of pizza-craftsman over 12 years ago. She has had some tlc along the way but remains at the heart of that authentic crispy base and those glowing embers create a very cosy feel.

Keeping Chef Tony was key to our new business. He has been throwing dough here for over 12 years and with his son Sami in the kitchen with him, we can guarantee the same great thin crust pizza that enticed us and our neighbourhood clientele.

Our double-fermented dough is made entirely on site to an original recipe and we use a number of authentic Italian suppliers to guarantee that you get the very best toppings on your pizza. Our Not Pizza options are all homemade and we have added a number of homemade dips to take those discarded crusts to another level.

and last but not least, let’s talk about ralph

It's a totally family business with the owners and all of their children taking it in turn to help out. The only one who can't be there is Ralph, the family cat, so this pizzeria is named for him. Most days, you'll find Ralph lazing around at home but Monday is his favourite day as the restaurant is closed and everyone is home to give him some well-deserved attention.
